Our readers had lots of fun, and submitted more than 30 captions for the photo of a a dalmatian sitting primly on a polka-dotted pillow in last week's Caption This contest.

The Patch judges awarded title of best caption to J.Lyn for her caption: "Does this pillow make my butt look big?"

Both J. Lyn and Randy Peddie, who submitted the photo, will get a digital copy of the photo with the caption affixed. You can click on the thumbnail above to see what it looks like.

For next week, in honor of the start of December, we've got a dog in the snow, wearing headphones and a scarf. You can start posting your funniest captions in the comments section now.

How much is WHAT doggie in the window?

I sincerly hope the head phones were not "ON" because that can be very painful for a Dog given their hearing is 500 times or more sensitive than humans. As an animal lover I am always cautious of these photos and videos focused on animals..They can be quite cruel.

We're doing some research right now concerning the safety and well being of this particular canine in the above picture. Thank you for pointing that out that cruelty to animals shouldn't be accepted. My guess would be that he's making that funny face because he is not happy with his owner had put the scarf and headphones on, and then took a picture of him/her. That's all, no volume.

My caption would be "Just hurry up and take the picture already"
