The Taste of Chicago is so overrated. And overcrowded.
This year, it's all about the Taste of Skokie Valley.
Come sample some of the finest foods served by area restaurants at the annual Taste of Skokie Valley at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts on June 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Skokie Valley and the Skokie Chamber of Commerce, a dozen or so local restaurants will all be serving their best dishes to all attendees.
The Taste of Skokie Valley (Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles and Skokie) is a celebration of gourmet food, fabulous auction items, friendship and community. More than 350 + Skokie Chamber members, Rotary Club members and community members are expected for this event to network and sample the fare.
The Taste of Skokie Valley benefits over 20 different charities, causes and non-profits. The Skokie Chamber of Commerce will be partnering with Rotary on this special project that will also enable the Skokie Chamber to expand its educational and training opportunities to the surrounding business community.
