Police responded to a battery complaint regarding a 36-year-old Chicago man on Jan. 5. The suspect was at the Skatium, 9340 Weber Park Place, to watch his 10-year-old son play hockey.
According to the report, the suspect saw his ex-wife would and learned that she was dating his son’s hockey coach. He then began making abusive comments toward her, police said. The subject seemed “highly intoxicated,” the report stated. There was no physical altercation and no charges were filed.
However, the offender was told that he could not come back to the Skatium again, the report said. No arrests were made.
