Woman drowns after having seizure in bathtub, police officials say.

Police are wrapping up their investigation into the death of a 44-year-old woman on Sunday.

The woman, whose name is not being released at this time, had a seizure and drowned in her bathtub, according to police officials. The overflowing water made its way into the units below, prompting someone to check out the situation and call police.

As a precaution, evidence technicians sealed off access to the condo until an autopsy of the body was completed, police officials said.

Kendra Kim, a resident at Optima Condos, said she saw five squad cars outside her building when she left for work at 8 a.m. Monday. When Kim returned at 7:30 p.m., she saw a forensic truck parked outside the condos.

"There's camera coverage outside and inside the building," Kim said. "It's unfortunate what happened, but I feel better knowing somebody didn't break in and do this."
