can't believe people fall for the Romney failed economics and the hardship that will be impossed on the middle class when he does away with deductions on mortages, certain loans etc. while making it easier for those with bucco bucks who wish to day trade and control the market without paying and tax.

Can't believe you fall for Obama's failures, record unemployment, food stamps, poverty rates, massive debt, credit downgrades, foreclosures, lower incomes, record low GDP.

Stop drinking the Koolaid doc. I'll vote for someone who has business sense and successful before someone who hasn't done anything in four years, golfed and taken more days off than any president, put us deeper into debt than anyone ever, and has not fulfilled a fraction of his previous campaign promises. Can't believe how easily duped people are.

Well "dr." - Obama's current plan to make EVERYONE poorer is not working out to well either. At least if the middle class is _working_ they can pay taxes. Also, do you REALLY think Obama's "tax the rich" program can raise enough revenue? Even if you took 100% from "the rich", there would not be enough to cover current spending by a large amount. The middle class is going to get hit - the difference is that Obama's plan will be to just keep taking more and more of a smaller pie.

@Steve: You can't believe how easily duped people are, and yet you repeat a blatant lie. President Obama has NOT taken "more vacation than any president." He has taken far, FAR few vacation days than President Bush did in his first four years. About a third as many, last time I checked. Please get your facts straight.

Notice how everything is a blatant lie these days. The economy must have recovered on MSNBC, its booming at 2% GDP (to later be adjusted down to 1.3% next quarter, like 2Q).

budzo, Romney wants there to be a cap on deductions.. if you make so much money you can only take so many deductions. If you make a lot of dough, e.g., you may not be able to take this deduction AND that deduction.
Most of middle class America will still be able to take their mortgage interest deduction.
And i can't believe that people fall for ANY Obama economics plans...as he is a failure.
Steve

@John C then the fact that he's golfed over 100 times on his "working" days doesn't count? We'll just count that as 1/2 days, or better yet he's developing diplomatic relationships with friends. He had 2 full years to do anything he wanted, house and senate with a majority democratic but nothing happened. Stemming from him voting "present" in the IL Senate.

Romney wants States to handle things. Which means pay for things too. If he reduces Federal Taxes in his plan (does he?) much of what those taxes pay for will be piled onto the States resulting in State tax increases. FEMA like activity only at the State level? Medicaid funded entirely by States? On and on....a disaster in the making.

We survived plenty of disasters in this country before FEMA was created. Contrary to your opinion, FEMA has been an unadulterated failure at all of its missions - with the possible exception of the U.S. Fire Administration.

Raising taxes automatically translates to more revenue? Conversely, reduction in tax rates automatically translates to less revenue. Try using critical thought instead of assumption.
Janet Sirabian

Conversely, can't believe that people fall for the Obama plan that continues to spend money that we do not have. Somebody needs to tell Washington (and Springfield) that it is impossible to spend money that you do not have. Who do you think is paying for that? The house of cards will come crashing down any day now.

There is already an imposed hardship on the middle class, it's called unemployment. More people are on food stamps under the Obama economic plan. The cost has doubled since 4yrs ago. Where do you think all these additional food stamp eligible people come from?
Dan Arenov
4:10 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2012
ole Puddinghead, the same goes for people going on disability.
But the thing about disability that the Democrats love is that when you go from being a 'worker' to being on permanent disability (on the taxpayers dime), you drop off of the employment rolls. This helps the unemployment number look better!
AND it guarantees that this person will continue to vote for the people who will give them stuff for free (hint: their party i.d. starts with the letter 'D')

Probably a good idea to have some cariologists on the set of MSLSD, after months of repeating lies about poll numbers and economy recovery, guys like Chris Matthews and Shultze, may need the paddles around 8.30 when the checkmark goes up for Romney. Repeat lies enough times and you actually start to believe them.
Dan Arenov

McCloud, you know that when Romney wins, Chris Matthews is going to blame it on...
RACISM!
Yes, the same white people who voted Obama into office in 2008 will have suddenly developed racist tendencies and will now vote against him.
Seriously. If Obama loses, there will be idiots like Matthews who will try to argue that point against all logic.

Here is the two reasons why Romney will win.
Many of the pollsters are STILL(!) using a false party sample number as the basis for the rest of their numbers. It's a matter of garbage in, garbage out.
While Gallup and Rasmussen (the most accurate pollster from '08) are finding a consistent R+1 ratio in the likely voter respondents, others, like CBS & CNN are using D+8 as their likely voter model.
Exit polling from the 2008 elections was consistently D+7.
So, while 2008 was an historic election that had a HUGE turnout of Democrats and Democrat enthusiasm and Bush fatigue.. 2012 is the opposite. It's the Republicans who are more enthusiastic about voting... It's Obama that people are sick and tired of.. 2010 was a 'wave' election for the GOP.
What rationale can anybody offer as to why any pollster would be using a D+8 model for potential voters this time around? There is none.
I know that liberals aren't crazy about facts and logic, but there you have it.

LOL... and here's the second reason. (deep breath).
Independents are breaking for Romney in HUGE numbers. Even the cooked polls that i refer to above are admitting that the gap with the Independents is AT LEAST R+10,
That's huge. Obama won the Independents last time around and they are now firmly with Romney.
and we all know that most of the undecideds break with the challenger on election day.
Obama is toast. Probably 53-47 Romney.

I am interested in knowing what the pundits on this micro blog site say about the inept and incredulous cover-up of the torture and murder of our diplomats in Bengahzi, as it has know been revealed that we had drones overhead, knew everything in almost real-time and did not respond to pleas of help; and yet our President still refuses to address the situation to the nation. IMHO, this is inexcusable, cowardly and certainly shows is ineffectual status as commander-in-chief, for political expediency sake. Do voters for Obama just ignore this travesty? How can any American not be enraged by this cover-up? For this reason alone, Obama should be seriously questioned in his mismanagement and it makes me wonder what our allies and other diplomats around the world are thinking about a guy who would rather schmooze on The View.

@Daniel... bingo. And what we will eventually find out is that many of the big players in the media had a lot more information and didn't release it.
They will alibi this by saying that they didn't want to interfere with ongoing investigations, yada. yada.
Now if it were a Republican in office??

Yes sir. This is the president who said that he could handle the 3 am call. What he didn't tell you was that his answering the call would be three or four months late and that everyone in danger would be dead by then. Face it. The man is incompetent.
