Freight Broker Signs Long-Term Lease in Skokie
Command Transportation has leased office space at 5500 W. Howard St.
Command Transportation, a freight broker between businesses that need products shipped and the transportation companies that move those products, has leased 19,000 square feet of office space at 5500 W. Howard St., Skokie, REJournals.com reported.
Paul Loeb, CEO of Command Transportation, says the office’s location fronting the I-94 Expressway makes it an ideal spot because it offers quick access to Chicagoland neighborhoods plus a view of traffic on the highway, REJournal.com reported.
Command Transportation is headquartered in Skokie at 7500 Frontage Road, and has other office locations in Houston, Kansas City, Omaha and St. Louis, according to the company’s website.

Skokie's mgmt should review the promotional efforts of towns like Evanston. Evanston is in all forms of news media. Ads. Activities. On line articles of interest. Skokie on the other hand rarely is mentioned, even in the Trib and local newspapers/magazines.

Well said Gordon - Much of the Village management is very outdated, which seems like the reason Skokie is not being promoted. They just don't know how to accomplish this! Skokie has much to offer! Time for updated Village management!
