Friday Blotter: Business Fraud

Business payroll problem

A business reported more than $100,000 worth of fraudulent checks that were written out by someone within the company on Dec. 21. At this time, the issue is under investigation.

Stolen iPod

A Niles West teen reported her iPod stolen from her locker on Dec. 21.

Macy’s theft

Angelic Desiree Pugh, 20, of Chicago, was charged with one count of misdemeanor theft on Dec. 21. Pugh attempted to steal more than $700 worth of clothing from Macy’s in Old Orchard Mall. Her court date is Jan. 24.

Two women were charged with retail theft after they stole several pieces of clothing from Macy’s in Old Orchard Mall on Dec. 15, according to police. Darishae Jones, 24, of Chicago, and Denecia Smith, 21, of Chicago, were both charged with retail theft.

Home burglary

About $3,000 in cash was reported stolen from a home in the 9000 block of Tripp Avenue on Dec. 20.

Stolen shades

Several teens entered Sunglasses Hut in Old Orchard Mall and stole two pair of glasses with a combined value of $580 and fled the store on Dec. 20.

He stole happened once. He stole the gun on Jan 1
He had stolen is past perfect. It was ongoing. He had stolen the guns from Sept. 1, 2009 through Jan 5, 2010.
