The Skokie Village Board unanimously appointed Skokie resident Karen Gray-Keeler as trustee at a village board meeting on Dec. 3. The term Gray-Keeler is serving expires in April, 2013.
“I am honored to serve as a Trustee in the Village of Skokie,” said Gray-Keeler. “Over the years that I have lived in the community, I have had the privilege of enjoying Skokie’s diversity in my neighborhoods and through my professional and volunteer involvement.
"It is important to me to give back to my community, and I am grateful for this opportunity to serve on the Village Board,” she added.

@ George, I think I did read it, then. Now, is when I read the part about his illness. (I was intentionally subtle about that part, somewhat due to not wanting to take anything away from Ms. Gray-Keeler. Maybe too subtle...) Thank you.
