Is Facebook Giving Away $10 to its Users?

A recent class action lawsuit amounts to $20 million for Facebook users. Some of the social media's user base might be getting $10.

You might want to check your spam. If you get an email with "Notice of Pending Class Action and Notice of Proposed Settlement," it could mean you're eligible for $10 from Facebook, according to Gizmodo.

As part of a recent class action settlement, Facebook might distribute $20 million among users who were used in advertisements without consentBuzz Feed reports

Eligible Facebook users need to fill out a claim form, but the settlement also stipultes "if the number of claims made renders it economically infeasible to pay money to persons who make a timely and valid claim, payment will be made to the not-for-profit organizations identified on the Settlement website at www.fraleyfacebooksettlement.com."

In other words, if too many people ask for their money, no one's getting any.
