Man Calls Police After Prostitute Robbed Him
A man called the Skokie Police Department after his prostitute robbed and bit him in Skokie on March 13.
Officers responded to a robbery complaint in the 3300 block of Church Street on March 13 around 7 p.m. The victim: An area man who tried paying a prostitute for her services, police said.
According to police, the victim reported that he attempted to pay the offender for prostitution services. During the transaction, an argument ensued – and escalated – causing the offender to bite the victim’s hand. Following the bite, the man retaliated, and punched the suspect, police said.
The entire incident occurred after the offender took $50 from the complainant, the report stated.
It is unclear if the attack was by the prostitute or by someone known by the prostitute at this time. No arrests were made.

Surely this will enrage some of the more easily excited among us, who will bemoan the loss of yesteryear's Skokie...
A safer Skokie, where rakes could safely cadge the... "commodities" without getting gnawed on like a leg of lamb, and where doxies could peddle their payload without getting pummeled.

You know I have been in Skokie since 1972, it's like night and day now. People used to really want to be in Skokie but now their worried about the crime. My parents live on a street by the library and a nice park but that park changed like alot of them have. There's house after house with Realtor signs in front of them. It's unfortunate and also any time I walk into a store I just do not understand the language. How does this happen? I'm sorry but it is rude. I'm not downing other people's languages but....I'm sure you know what I'm trying to say! But yet I will not leave Skokie it's where I'm from my daughter is going through the exact same schools I did!! My heart is here.

The story mentions that no "arrests" were made, but last time i checked solicitation for prostitution is also a chargeable offense? There is perceived to be a lax position on crime in Skokie and something like (no ticket or arrest) for solicitation for prostitution doesn't help the situation. Everyone has a right to privacy and what they do under there own roofs is their own business, however when you involve the police with something like this and you "confess" to your criminal activities then you deserve to suffer some consequences. I know this is a short story, there could be more facts that we haven't been exposed to. And here's hoping their will be no "retaliatory" action by the prostitutes "employer" (pimp)!
What a shame.

I believe the great laureate Calvin Broadus said it best in his "Ode to Big Pimping":
Sliding through the city in the rag 6-4,
Hoppin' like a katzenjammer trying to find a hoe,
Hitting all the spots but I am coming up blank,
I am headed to the liquor store to get myself some drank.

The argument was probably about the hooker being a dude. hence the punch in the face and the $50 services.

All the areas of the " north shore" are deteriorating rapidly. The criminal/welfare recipient class from chicago migrating And of course the constant flow of immigrants the government wants. section 8 programs seek to put the food stamp wic/link set into as many neighborhoods as possible.... and so. Crime. Destruction of schools and loss of what these areas used to represent are accelerating>>>>" the great society programs" the democratic liberals promote...

Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart and the Cook County President want to lessen all prostitution charges from a felony down to a misdemeanor. Felony means jail or prison, misdemeanors means $100 fine. They say they need to lower the number of inmates due to severe overcrowding.
