Skokie needs representatives who aren't afraid to address the issue of crime. Its not enough to talk about it, but go to the areas where crime has spiked and make your presence known. Like any disease...treat it before it spreads!

Why is the present 'administration' in denial that crime is an issue? Crime is a major problem according to this story. I hope this 'victim' sues the Village for negligence to keep him safe, I hope someone maybe the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) takes this case for free.. this is terrible, horrible and scary...

Why, in my day we used breakfast pastries to settle our quarrels. And with such an arsenal of said pastries at her disposal, seeing as the setting was the International House of Pancakes, why didn't the heartbroken young trollope incorporate them into her attack? Pancakes, flapjacks, johnnycakes, griddlecakes, johnnybread, hotcakes -- all would have been sufficient as projectiles in such a lovers' dispute.

Looks like Skokie is on a roll... down hill all the way. Its time to be proactive and preventive. When will the heads come out of the sand?

How does none of the neighbors not see a kid getting beaten up by 6 thugs?? Someone had to have been looking out the window. But of course the thugs walk away freely and Skokie police get there late as usual. If a person was smoking a joint Skokie police would get there in an instant and arrest that person.

And they say crime is down...........
Vote out as many of the rats as possible this election.
Vote independent.
Call, email the clowns (mayor, manager, top cop) and ask them what are they smoking?
Maybe they will share with us and we will see things their way.....
