Niles North Teen Reported Missing

Both state and local authorities have investigated numerous leads.

The Skokie Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding a runaway juvenile reported missing since March 11, 2011. Missing is Zaineb S. Chaudhary, female, Pakistani, 16-years-old, 5-foot-4, 123 lbs., long black hair and last seen at Niles North High School.   

Chaudhary apparently left home voluntarily as the result of tensions caused by differences with her parents. Last known contact with friends was reported on March 12, 2011, which was made by a phone call and text message.

The Skokie police, in conjunction with the Illinois State Police, have investigated numerous leads, and have made exhaustive efforts to find Chaudhary. Local, state-wide and national resources have been utilized, to include localized law enforcement Critical Reach Bulletins, contacting agencies in other states, and nationally via the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. 

At this time, we believe Chaudhary is not in any danger and may be with individuals who are acting to protect her.

Our primary goal is to locate Chaudhary. The full resources of the Skokie Police Department are available to ensure her safety and provide her with resources to deal with the circumstances which forced her to leave home. 

Anyone who has come into contact with Chaudhary is asked to contact the Skokie Police Department at 847-982-5900, or the nearest local law enforcement agency.
