Having a favorite grocery store is special. You typically know where to find everything, enjoy the atmosphere and deem the store's products good enough to put in your body.
That being said, we'd like to congratulate Market Place on Oakton as Skokie's favorite grocery store. All in all, 90 people voted, with 38 votes going toward the downtown Skokie business, or 42 percent.
The next runner up was Village Market, which captured 24 votes, or 26 percent.
