Serial Hair Salon Robber Indicted in Skokie
Jason Logsdon, 41, told police that he robbed more than a dozen hair salons to feed his crack habit.
Jason Logsdon was indicted this week at the Skokie Courthouse, the Sun-Times reports. He was charged with five counts of armed robbery.
Logsdon, 41, of the 900 block of Evanston, robbed 15 hair salons in eight different municipalities, spanning two counties. Two of his robberies occurred in Skokie. There was also one in Niles and Morton Grove, police said.
According to the Sun-Times, Logsdon used a BB gun to rob the salons, adding that he would typically make off with anywhere from $100 to $800. He also told authorities that he committed the robberies to feed his crack habit.
Logsdon is scheduled to appear in court on March 8.

I walked into my favorite hair salon on a Saturday and told my hair stylist, "Hey, did you hear that there's a guy going around holding these places up?" She said, "Yea, he was here on Thursday." I couldn't believe my ears!
