Skokie Golf Range Named Top 50 in America
The Golf Range Association of America recently named the Skokie Sports Park at 3459 Oakton St. as one of the top 50 golf ranges in America.

While the weather outside is frightful, one of the Skokie Park District's outdoor facilities was recently named a top 50 golf range in America by the Golf Range Association of America, or GRAA.
It marks the eleventh time in almost 15 years that the GRAA have named the Skokie Sports Park, located at 3459 Oakton St., as one of the top golf practice centers in America.
The Skokie Sports Park range features a two-story, 40 station driving range with a brand new automatic tee-up system. Instead of buying a bucket of balls, golfers insert a debit card, the ball is automatically set, and they swing away. The stations are even heated for winter practice.
The GRAA, based in New Canaan, Conn., was formed in 1991. It publishes the industry's leading driving range trade magazine, Golf Range, six times per year.
