Ready to learn more about being Green? Then all are welcome to the Spring Greening event at Niles North High School, 9800 North Lawler Ave., on April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is presented by the Skokie Chamber of Commerce, Skokie Park District, District 219, Skokie Public Library and the Village of Skokie.
The Spring Greening expo features:
• Reuse and recycling drop-off (see website for acceptable items)
• Entertainers: Strictly Jug Nuts jug band, Ricky Recycle, Parker in the Park, and The Trashy Fashion Show by District 219
• Green products and services expo with local businesses and organizations
• Informative workshops on green living topics
