Thursday Blotter: Condo Burglary Leads to Stolen Auto
The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. At Skokie Patch, we update our blotter daily.
Police responded to a burglary in the 8300 block of Christiana Avenue on Feb. 10. According to the report, the offender(s) entered through an unlocked rear door and removed clothing, a Nintendo Wii, laptop, HDTV and numerous CDs, DVDs.
Officers responded to a burglary in the 4900 block of Jerome Avenue on Feb. 11. According to the report, entry was made through a rear window. It is unknown what is missing from the home at this time.
Theft from auto
A GPS device was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 5100 block of Church Street on Feb. 11.
A truck parked outside Federal Mogul, 7450 McCormick Blvd., was reported stolen on Feb. 7.
Condo burglary, stolen auto
A condo unit was reported burglarized on Feb. 11. According to the report, the offender(s) used a pry bar to gain entry into the unit. Reported missing was an HDTV, two digital cameras and keys to a Toyota sedan.
The vehicle, which was parked outside the complex, was also reported stolen, police said.
A woman reported her purse stolen after shopping at Marshall's, 9445 Skokie Blvd., on Feb. 11. According to police, the woman left her purse in her shopping cart unattended.
Andi Koreel, 23, of Des Plaines and Dino Sarancic, 22, of Lincolnwood, were stopped by police in the 4600 block of Donson Avenue on Feb. 11. Koreel was charged with possession of cannabis and Sarncic was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Remy Domenjoud, 24, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Feb. 11. Domenjoud was stopped in Skokie for speeding, police said.
