Thursday Blotter: Landlord Dispute

Landlord dispute

A tenant contacted police about a theft on June 25. According to the report, the man’s landlord would not return his security deposit.

Burglary

Police responded to a burglary in the 4400 block of Oakton Street on June 27. According to the report, an unknown person(s) broke into a business through the rear door and attempted to remove the cash register.

Police responded to a burglary in the 8500 block of Keystone Avenue on June 25. According to the report, the suspect(s) removed a bike from the common storage area of the building.

Parts stolen from auto

A car parked in the 8200 block of Springfield Avenue was reported burglarized on June 12. Among the items stolen were a pair of Pioneer brand speakers, an intake system and the front/lip spoiler of the vehicle.

DUI

Marcos Corral, 20, of the 3400 block of Sunset Lane in Franklin Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on June 23. While Corral refused a Breathalyzer test, he failed the field sobriety test, the report said. His court date is July 24.

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 9500 block of Lorel Avenue was reported burglarized on June 24. According to the report, the man’s front license plate was reported stolen.
