Thursday Blotter: Shopping Cart Dispute

A woman shopping at Old Orchard Mall reported her purse stolen on Aug. 11.
Paint balling in Skokie
A man reported that an unknown person shot two red paint balls at his window in the 4600 block of Oakton Street on Aug. 11.
Shopping cart dispute
A woman loading groceries into her vehicle reported that a different woman used her shopping cart to hit her vehicle several times on Aug. 11.
Police were dispatched to Dunkin Donuts, 5150 Touhy Ave., regarding a disorderly conduct complaint on Aug. 11. According to the report, a customer that regularly comes in is very rude to staff, making vulgar remarks about race to employees. The 24-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct and told not to come back to the store again.
Michael Bozeman, 36, of Calumet City, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 11. According to the report, Bozeman was stopped in the 4900 block of Dempster Street for a traffic violation. He allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of .141. Bozeman was also cited for driving on a suspended license and improper lane usage.
Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 8400 block of Larmaie Avenue on Aug. 10. According to the report, a glass table was smashed using a blunt object. No arrests were made.
A woman reported being charged about $800 from ComEd for services that she never used. She believes someone obtained her information and paid his or her electric bill illegally, according to the report.
