TODAY: Jet's to Give Out Free Pizza in Skokie
Last year's Pizza Wars champion, Jet's Pizza, will be giving out free pizza to customers on Saturday, Jan. 26, at their Skokie location.

Jet's Pizza will be giving out free pizza today, Saturday, Jan. 26, at their Skokie location, 4112 Dempster St.
The first 50 customers will even get a free Jet's Pizza t-shirt, said owner Mark McConnell. The promotion will also be running at all Jet's locations in Illinois, McConnell said.
"We're not going to run out of pizza," McConnell said, referencing the last free pizza give away at a different restaurant in Skokie. Last year, Jet's Pizza was crowned champion at Pizza Wars 2.
McConnell, who also works as an officer for Northwestern University in his spare time, met his business partner, Kevin O'Donnell, when he was just a kid.
“I grew up with Kevin. Our moms are sisters,” he said. “We lived down the street from each other. Went to college together. Opened a business together.”

Great place. Wonderful attitude! We just got back from the free pizza and tshirt promotion. My kids are wearing them now. Great pizza too! We are now loyal customers.

It is over. I called the Skokie location and they said it ended at 3 pm today.

It's over? Really? At 9:38 PM When the caption under the photo says it's free from
11 AM to 3 PM. Next thing you're going to tell me is I can't get a chicken sandwich at Chick-Fil-A on Sunday. Thanks NAME WITHHELD.
