Wednesday Blotter: Car Parts Stolen

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. At Skokie Patch, we update our blotter daily.

 

Stolen ring

A woman reported a $2,500 ring stolen from her home in the 3600 block of Main Street on Sept. 5. The woman alleges a cleaning service took the ring from her home.

Stolen bike

A woman reported her bike stolen from outside Macy’s in Old Orchard Mall on Sept. 5. The bike was valued at around $300, the report stated.

Stolen plate sticker

A man reported his license plate sticker stolen from his vehicle on Aug. 31.

Parts stolen

A car part was stolen from a parked vehicle in the 9100 block of Ewing Avenue on Sept. 4.

Burglary

Two bikes were reported stolen from a home in the 7500 block of Frontage Road on Sept. 4.

A bike valued at $500 was reported stolen from a garage in the 7400 block of Lincoln Avenue on Sept. 3.

Grand theft auto

A Saturn sedan was reported stolen from the 4700 block of Main Street on Sept. 2.

Vehicle vandalism

An SUV parked in the 8500 block of Louis Avenue was reported vandalized on Aug. 23. According to the report, a muffler was cut in half and removed from the vehicle.
