It seems Lamon Avenue has been an area with a lot of crime.

This is very unfortunate. I have been trying to start a community committee. I guess I need to work harder.

What do you recommend? I recommend a proactive approach, not reactive. If it is about new people that live in Skokie, how can we orient them? How could we orient a community this large? I would love more community programs, like a year round farmer's market with music and food, etc. This is a way to get to know the community.

We need more community assigned police officers, without profiling. In case people are getting out of hand, there is someone there to do something immediately; again without profiling. We do need to weed out the bad plants and plant new seeds.
