Wednesday Blotter: Garland Theft

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. At Skokie Patch, we update our blotter daily.

 

Package stolen

A package containing an electronic tablet was reported stolen from an apartment vestibule in the 8000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue on Nov. 29. The package was to be a delivered from FedEx, but taken before the owner could claim it, the report stated.

Burglary

A man reported $380 and an Apple iPod Touch stolen from his residence in the 4200 block of Lee Street on Dec. 12.

Christmas garland stolen

About $250 worth of Christmas garland was stolen outside a home in the 9200 block of Kildare Avenue on Dec 10.

Grab and go

About 15 teens walked into a 7-Eleven at 4834 Church St. and grabbed as many items as they could before fleeing the store on Dec. 1.

DUI

Martin Antonio-Cruz, 36, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance on Dec. 11. Cruz was stopped in the 4000 block of Dempster Street after police witnessed his vehicle strike a curb, the report stated. He had a blood alcohol content level of .193, the report said.

Police also found a small amount of marijuana in Cruz’s possession.

I do hope poor Miss Judy is found and returned no worse for wear. She was quite stunning in the Techni-Colored picture show I recently saw!
