The Village of Skokie will host a community celebration in and around the new station from 2 to 4pm this Sunday June 24, 2012. All Skokie residents are invited to attend.

 In celebration of the CTA Yellow Line Station opening in Downtown Skokie a kiddie bike parade takes place at the new multi-use path from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m.
