 dren&rsquo\;s Rights Council of Illinois is a non-profit organization le
 d by volunteer parents who share a concern for the development and well-
 being of children from non-traditional families like their own. We provi
 de insight to stakeholders and leaders on the impact public policies and
  established practices have on children of separated parents in Illinois
 . We also educate the general public on the importance of adopting famil
 y-friendly approaches to the unique issues facing these at-risk children
 . Through our advocacy network we promote the adoption of recognized &ls
