Weinstein Funeral Home is sponsoring a Geniza ceremony at Memorial Park Cemetery. A Geniza is a Jewish custom where books, clothing and other items are buried in a sacred place to benefit the community and future generations. The children of Keshet – a leading provider of educational, recreational, vocational and social programs for Jewish individuals with intellectual disabilities – will be participating in the ritual. All items for the burial also are being collected by Keshet. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate in this meaningful ritual.
