As a young writer it is important to develop the habits of a writer. Writers keep notes, make lists, draw funny pictures and try out ideas. Where do they do these things? A Writer’s Notebook!

In this one-day workshop we will create Writer’s Notebooks while developing the skills and habits of a writer. Using writing prompts and exercises, we will practice our writing skills, explore a few rules of good writing and have fun with our Notebooks.

This workshop is for students in grades 6-9. All writing experiences are welcome.
