Leslie Goddard, Historian and Actress
For most of its history, Chicago was the Candy Capitol of America, producing about one-third of the nation's candy, including Wrigley's gum, Cracker Jack, Baby Ruth, Tootsie Rolls, and more. Ms. Goddard shares the history behind these tasty treats and explores what made Chicago such a powerful location for candy makers.
