Taste of Skokie Valley
On June 14th, you can sample the finest foods served in local restaurants at the annual Taste of Skokie Valley. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Skokie Valley and the Skokie Chamber of Commerce, a dozen or so local restaurants will all be serving in the spacious lobby of the North Shore Center for Performing Arts. Thursday, June 14th from 5:30pm-8:30pm, the event will also feature live entertainment.
This year’s event is sponsored by Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center, Evanston Subaru in Skokie, Print X-Press and the North Shore Center for Performing Arts in Skokie. Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the door. Contact the Skokie Chamber office at 847-673-0240 for more information.
The Taste of Skokie Valley (Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles and Skokie) is a celebration of gourmet food, fabulous auction items, friendship and community. More than 350 + Skokie Chamber members, Rotary Club members and community members are expected for this event to network and sample the fare.
The Taste of Skokie Valley benefits over 20 different charities, causes and non-profits. The Skokie Chamber of Commerce will be partnering with Rotary on this special project that will also enable the Skokie Chamber to expand its educational and training opportunities to the surrounding business community.
Michael Lerich Productions sponsored by Evanston Subaru in Skokie will provide live music and entertainment.

More About North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie
The North Shore Center for Performing Arts in Skokie is the premier performance venue on Chicago's North Shore.
The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie is a dynamic two-theater complex designed by Boston-based architect Graham Gund.
The North Shore Center opened in November 1996 to operate as part of the Village of Skokie’s plan to provide cultural, literary and educational programs to benefit the citizens of Skokie and Chicago’s North Shore. The facility features an 867-seat main theater, and a convertible 342-seat theater.
In addition, there is a 6,000 square foot grand lobby, rehearsal hall and conference rooms. The North Shore Center presents a Feature Series and the curriculum-based Youtheatre program, which has provided supplemental arts education to over a million Chicago area students.
The North Shore Center is home to the Northlight Theatre, Skokie Valley Symphony, Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra and hosts numerous other cultural and special events. The North Shore Center is managed by Professional Facilities Management, Inc.
