DESCRIPTION:The Twenty First Star Chapter of the National Society of the 
 Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Wednesday\, December 1
 2\, 2012\, at the Park Ridge Country Club\, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Pa
 rk Ridge at 11:30 a.m.&nbsp\; A&nbsp\;luncheon will be served at 12:00 p
 .m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Car
 ol Pauly\, Virginia Wingfield\, Bonnie Reese and Barbara Hale\, Chairman
 .\n&nbsp\;\nRegent Joy Martin and the entire chapter are delighted to co
 ntinue a Holiday tradition provided by the Maine South Vocal Jazz Ensemb
 le\, an extra-curricular group of vocalists under the direction of Mr. M
 atthew Hanes. The group rehearses three days a week at 6:45 AM and enjoy
 s a busy performance schedule with concerts at Maine South and in the su
 rrounding communities.&nbsp\; The ensemble is very versatile\, but focus
 es on vocal jazz repertoire: swing\, blues\, and ballad. They will prese
 nt "Christmas in Song" for our joyful Holiday program.&nbsp\; Please bri
 ng non-perishable and/or canned goods to the meeting for the Niles Food 
 Pantry.\n&nbsp\;\nWomen who are interested in membership in DAR should k
 now that any woman 18 years or older\, regardless of race\, religion\, o
 r ethnic background\, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the
  American Revolution\, is eligible for membership.&nbsp\; DAR recognizes
  "Patriots" not only as soldiers\, but anyone who contributed to the cau
