“What Do I Need to Know About Bone Health & Arthritis?” is a free lecture that will be offered at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at Alden North Shore Rehab Center, 5050 W. Touhy Ave. in Skokie.
In this free seminar, attendees will learn about osteoporosis, arthritis and less invasive approaches to treating hip pain. Orthopedic Surgeon Matthew J. Jimenez, MD, will present signs and symptoms of hip disorders as well as the latest advances in treatment and surgical options. Dr. Jimenez is one of only a few orthopedic surgeons throughout the state who has undergone the training necessary to perform alternative and less invasive treatments to hip pain.
The event includes a complimentary three-course meal frin 6 to 6:30 p.m. prepared by Executive Chef Ian Benemerito.
