79 Runners from Skokie Finish Chicago Marathon
The fastest runner from Skokie finished in just over 3 hours.
Congratulations to the 79 men and women from Skokie who finished Sunday's 2013 Bank of America Chicago Marathon!
According to the official results page, 106 Skokie runners were signed up to race and 79 finished.
The fastest of the pack was Gerhard Mels, 51, who finished 62nd in his age group and 1284th overall with a time of 03:05:52.
Among the other impressive finishes was Melvin Lopata, 72, who finished 8th in his age group with a time of 06:07:43.
