CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY NOTICE: Road Closure for Water Main Repair on East Prairie Road between Dempster and Greenwood Streets

The Skokie Public Works Department will be repairing a water leak on East Prairie Road between Dempster and Greenwood Streets today, February 6, 2014. East Prairie Road will be closed in both directions between Dempster and Greenwood Streets during the repair.

Southbound traffic on East Prairie Road will be detoured west on Greenwood Street to south on Hamlin Avenue and back to Dempster Street. Northbound traffic will be detoured west to Hamlin Avenue, north to Greenwood Street and back to East Prairie Road. The repair project and traffic detour will continue throughout the day.  During this time, please consider an alternate route if possible.  Repairs are scheduled for completion by the end of the day today, February 6, 2014.
