Over the last 25 years, Ms. Gutman, a Life Member of NCJW Chicago North Shore, has served as Section President, Fundraising Chair, and volunteer on a variety of committees. Ms. Gutman has also served on the national board of NCJW for the past three years, chairing the Women to Women Empowerment Initiative in Israel, the Israel Granting Program, and co-chairing a Mission to Israel in 2009.
Recently, Ms. Gutman was appointed as Vice President of the International Council of Jewish Women (ICJW), representing the United States. The ICJW’s platform calls for advocacy and action: ending discrimination against women in all spheres of life, combating anti-Semitism and all forms of religious discrimination, and raising a collective voice against the trafficking of women.
In 2009, Gutman created Women of the World, a global organization committed to developing strategic relationships that foster economic opportunities, encourage thought leadership and elevate awareness about the issue of violence against women. By providing networking opportunities, mentorship, accredited speakers and volunteer opportunities, Women of the World provides women the ability to connect and grow professionally and personally.
In February, 2009, Ms. Gutman received the Annual Entrepreneurial Achievement Award from the Network of Women Entrepreneurs.
