Jamieson Elementary School Receives $1k Grant from New York Life

The Chicago General Office of New York Life, located inDowners Grove, Chicago, awarded Jamieson Elementary School of Forest Glen, Chicago, a $1,000 grant to support the school’s Girls in the Game program.

Girls in the Game provides and promotes sports and fitness opportunities, nutrition and health education, and leadership development to enhance the overall health and well-being of girls.

Local fourth grader Aliki Stamatis received the award for her school and was recognized at the Big East women’s basketball tournament at DePaul University.  Ms. Stamatis attended the game as one of 1,000 Girls in the Game participants and family members who received free tickets underwritten by New York Life.
