Lincoln Terrace Art Studio and Gallery extends Summer Art and Puppet Making Camp

SUMMER ART & PUPPET-MAKING CAMP EXTENDED! Now celebrating its 15th year in downtown Skokie, Lincoln Terrace Art Studio & Gallery is extending its registration for its Summer Art Camp program for ages 6 through 15 through August 23, 2013. Four classes per week held Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 9 am - 1 pm beginning August 1 and going through August 23, 2013. Registration is flexible. Students can register for one class at a time and make their own schedule. Class size is limited to no larger than eight students. Students will use pencil, watercolor, tempera, and oil paints as they learn draw and paint landscapes, still lifes, animals and portraits. Also, students will work with modeling clay and paper mache’ to design stick puppets and create their own puppet shows. At the end of the art camp, students’ works will be displayed inside the Gallery and students will present their Puppet Shows. Art Camp will be held at Lincoln Terrace Art Studio and Gallery, 5027 Warren Street, Skokie IL 60077. Lincoln Terrace Art Studio also offers hourly rates to students for ongoing classes on Wednesdays from 4:30 - 6:30 pm; Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm; and Sundays from 10 am - 2 pm.
