Turning Point Unveils Plan For 12,000 Square Foot Therapeutic Client Garden and Green Space

On Nov. 8, staff and clients from Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center unveiled the design plan for a 12,000 square foot Therapeutic Client Garden and Green Space. Turning Point’s garden therapy group and staff worked with a consultant from the Chicago Botanic Garden Horticultural Therapy Program to develop the design over a series of workshops. Turning Point staff and clients gathered in the parking lot at 8324 Skokie Boulevard to make the designated garden and green space “bloom” with chalk drawings of flowers and plants.
