Drug Education Presentation To Be Held At D219

Bring your children to this one hour presentation about drug education. The even will feature a variety of experts and give audience members a glimpse of use, patterns and trends.

The Village of Lincolnwood, along with School District 74 and School District 219, invite parents and educators to attend a one-hour presentation on current drug trends amongst our teens on Oct. 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. The presentation will be held at Village Hall, 6900 N. Lincoln Ave.

Any parent or professional of a child between the ages 12 and 21 years will be interested in this inside glimpse of the drug and alcohol use, patterns, and trends. The presenter, Lisa Bloom, MSW, Outreach Coordinator of Gateway Foundation Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center, will also discuss how to recognize the signs and symptoms of drug use and what to do if your child is affected.
