We know all the best places to go with your kids this weekend - and most of them are free!

Do you have a budding Iron Chef? The Morton Grove Public Library will teach your youngest cook how to make some adventurous Asian and Pacific Island dishes.

Feb 10 - Reading with Rover
Where: Niles Public Library, 6960 W. Oakton St.

Price: Free
Help your kids build confidence by reading out loud to service dogs. These cuddly canines are the world’s most patient listeners and a great audience for whatever story your child wants to read.

Feb 11 - Bibliobop Dance Party
Where: Niles Public Library, 6960 W. Oakton St.
10:00 a.m. - Noon
Price: Free
Who says parents never go dancing anymore? Now we dance with the kids! This Saturday morning, DJ Miss Cate spins tunes for babies, toddlers and kids to all feel the rhythm! Shake your stuff with the whole family.

Join the Morton Grove Public Library for a another free Kid’s Flicks. This time they’re watching Open Season 3.

Balloon Dude Dale is ready to show your kids how to make amazing balloon sculptures. Join him for an afternoon of comedy, music, and balloon sculptures to take home.

Price: $5
The Niles Family Fitness Center welcomes middle and high schoolers to dance to DJ’s Denis and Fred. This is a safe, friendly environment with plenty of adult supervision and a little candy and soda for sale to help fuel the dancing.

Feb 12 - 13 - Chilly Fest
Where: Emily Oaks Nature Center: 4650 Brummel St.
4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Price: $11 adult, $9 child
It may not feel like it, but spring will be here soon enough. This weekend, enjoy some winter hayrides, ice carving demonstrations, ice skating, s’mores, and a chilli dinner to warm you up after all that outdoor fun.
