JCC Skokie Selects New CEO For Chicago Area

The Jewish Community Center - or JCC - is more than a 100-years-old. Their most recent CEO will serve as the eleventh elected in the non-profit's impressive history.

The Jewish Community Center - or better known by Skokie locals as JCC - announced that Alan Sataloff will be the next CEO and General Director of JCC Chicago. Sataloff is the eleventh general director of the 109-year-old agency, which is a nonprofit dedicated to servicing a strong and vibrant Jewish community.

“I am excited to be coming to Chicago,” said Sataloff. “The city’s large and diverse Jewish community provides for tremendous opportunities to make a difference. I look forward to building on JCC Chicago’s rich history and providing innovative programs to serve individuals and families in meaningful and inspiring ways.”

Sataloff is well known for his work throughout the Jewish community.

In July 2004, he joined Oshman Family JCC (OFJCC), in Palo Alto, Calif., and led a board and community $140 million capital campaign to build a new and permanent home to serve the growing Jewish and Israeli populations of the Silicon Valley. OFJCC is now one of the top 10 largest JCCs in the country in terms of membership and one of the largest facilities.
