Panera 'Pays it Forward' to Police, USPS

Panera Bread was out delivering warm cups of coffee to blue collar workers on Wednesday around 6 a.m.

Panera employees were out at 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning to deliver warm cups of coffee and cookies to local employees.

Part of their Warm up Wednesday program, the group surprised officers at the Skokie Police Station, United States Post Office and Park District with cookies and coffee.

Panera said the program, now in its second year, was a great opportunity for Panera to “pay it forward” to local heroes and thank everyone who makes a positive impact on the community every day.
