The Week In Preview

Weekend Pattern- A quiet weekend is expected with more of a west to east pattern across the country. High pressure will also dominate the West and Midwest with tranquil weather conditions over the much of our region. Cold weather will begin to ease by Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

Late Week Pattern- A storm system will likely form somewhere in the Southern Plains and possibly move up toward the Ohio Valley or Great Lakes region. At this time, the air looks warm enough produce some rain with possibly a few flurries by next Friday or Saturday.

Temperatures: We are currently experiencing some of the coldest air of the season with highs in the mid 20s expected today. Even though the weekend will be quiet, temperatures will still average below normal but should gradually moderate by late in the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Warmer air will move in from the west with highs in the upper 30 and lower 40s Monday through Wednesday.
