New docent orientation

Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park seeks volunteers

Are you interested in Art?  The Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park is currently seeking individuals for our docent program.

The docents are a vital and active group of adults whose primary mission is to help conduct tours and present our art-education program, Sculpture-in-the-Classroom, to local K-12 school students.  In addition to learning about the Sculpture Park and its sculptures, docents enjoy private guided field trips to artist studios, sculpture production facilities, galleries and other displays of sculpture.

No experience is necessary other than an interest in people and art.

 Our first meeting of the new season will be on January 13 to introduce and explain the docent program, as well as enjoy an art history slide lecture and discussion of various topics related to upcoming events.
