Get ready for “Fierce,” the dance show by Orchesis Dance Company presented on March 8 through 10 in the Robert L. Johnson Auditorium at Niles West High School, 5701 W. Oakton, Skokie. “Fierce” will feature a variety of dance styles including: hip hop, modern/contemporary, lyrical, jazz and others. Performances are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased through the Box Office at (847) 626-2633 or at the door. A free community performance will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 8.
“Fierce” features choreography by Stephanie Paul, Annie Polack, Elijah Gibson, Jon Lehrer, Lisa Marie Torres, Andrew Phan and Matthew Pumanes. Officers of Orchesis are Mary Vo and Casey Mahoney-Muno. Members of the company: Evangeline Alpogianis, Alison Check, Nadiya Choi, Marie Clair, Adrianna Daskalopoulos, Keenan Morales, Karolina Orynczak, Isabel Ramirez, Kayla Simon, Randy Tran, Emily Topp, Froilan Usman, Amy Williams, Stephanie Williams and Wesley Uy.
