Reggae Sensation Matisyahu To Perform in Skokie

If you heard his music, you'd think Matisyahu was Jamaican. However, the Jewish reggae star is set to perform at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts this February.

Matisyahu managed to do what most would think impossible: Incorporate Jewish themes with reggae music - successfully. He accomplished that with great success in 2005 and has been on a roll ever since.

Now, the artist also known as Matthew Paul Miller will be performing live at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts (NSCPA) on Feb. 6. The event, titled, An Acoustic Evening with Matisyahu, will give "fans an intimate and personal experience showcasing the simple and profound statement of Matisyahu's music and lyrics," according to the NSCPA website.

Tickets range from $35 to $150 VIP seats. The VIP tickets will include seating in the first three rows and an artist meet and greet, according to the NSCPA.
