Today - The Talking Farm's 2nd Annual Hullabaloo

Get to the Howard Street Farm for this must attend event! Happening today!

Join the board, staff, and friends of The Talking Farm for an Open House celebrating a successful year of developing the Howard Street Farm. During this year’s growing season, we’ve installed a 10,000 sq. ft. Ethnic Heritage Demonstration Garden with plants that showcase our community’s ethnic diversity, built a hoop house for three-season food production, and established a native prairie plant garden. It's a "site" to be seen!

Highlights of the 2012 Hullabaloo include live music, family-friendly crafts and activities, marshmallow roasting, demonstration of an oil press, an observation honeybee hive, an “Ask the Dietitian” booth, light refreshments, and more! All ages are welcome.  If possible, please R.S.V.P. at http://ttfhullabaloo.eventbrite.com/

The Howard Street Farm is growing produce using sustainable methods; will offer classes in growing, preserving, and enjoying local foods; and will conduct research relevant to urban agriculture.
