Thank You

On behalf of my entire family I want to thank everyone who helped and participated in my campaign for Skokie Trustee.  Your generous support, friendship, time, and belief in me and my commitment to the future of Skokie was overwhelming.  From the boy who changed his parent's outgoing voicemail reminding people to vote, to the woman who peppered me with questions during early voting and ended up volunteering for me on election day, you have my eternal thanks and promise that I will continue to advocate on your behalf.  And to all of those who challenged and chided me on message boards and emails, posts and tweets, I thank you for your contributions to the process as well.   I am very much inspired to continue contributing to our community and look forward to days ahead.

As I told my children, winning doesn't always mean crossing the finish line first.  I won in so many other ways.  Not the least of which was having the opportunity to meet and speak with many residents and business owners with whom I now call friends.

I wish the elected trustees the very best and know in my heart that they heard all our voices during this election and will represent us as such.
