American Bistro 'Two North' To Open In Skokie

The owners of One North Kitchen and Bar have signed a lease to open Two North Kitchen and Bar in downtown Skokie, the village of Skokie's Economic Development Specialist Leslie Murphy confirmed Thursday.

And as One North expands to Two North, it could help things add up for downtown Skokie. The American brasserie is expected to open at 4904 Oakton in late fall.

The menu for One North, at One North Upper Wacker Drive in Chicago, features appetizers, tacos, sandwiches, burgers and entrees such as surf and turf (braised short ribs and Dublin prawns, $26), roasted chicken ($21), lobster risotto with maitake mushrooms ($19) and seared sea scallops ($20).

Murphy indicated Two North will feature "modern American Bistro food with diverse, chef driven (from scratch and seasonal) fare at a reasonable price."

The restaurant will offer take out, dine-in and catering and seasonal items. The bar will feature craft beer and premier wines with cocktails made from fresh ingredients.
