Company Leaving Skokie, Taking 65 Jobs

The Reznick Group, which is headquartered in Skokie, is leaving the village and heading to downtown Chicago next year.

Mayor Emanuel announced Monday that Reznick Group will move its Midwest headquarters from Skokie to Chicago in the next year; leaving the village with a loss of about 65 jobs, according to the Chicago Tribune. 

The business will be moving , 4711 Golf Road. Headquartered in Maryland, Reznick Group is the 11th largest accounting firm in the country, with annual revenues of about $450 million. The company works in areas such as affordable housing, commercial real estate and in industries such as construction, government, financial services and manufacturing.

According to the Tribune, no special incentives were given to the Reznick Group for their reloaction.

“I welcome Reznick Group to downtown Chicago,” said Emanuel in a press release. “As the company grows I am certain they will find world-class employees and will be a strong member of Chicago’s outstanding professional services business community.” 

Reznick Group was founded in 1977, and has offices around the country and in India.
