Old Orchard Building Kids' Play Space
The new children's play area will be located on the northeast end of the mall.
A large new children's play space is under construction at Westfield Old Orchard Mall.
Signs on a fenced-off area, which stretches from the L.L. Bean store on the south to Epic Burger on the north, say it will open in June. The mall website also describes the new play area.
The website says parents will need to supervise their children in the play space. Since the space is near parking lot traffic, parents may view that as a safety consideration.
